Bakersfield Homeless Center Needs Canned Goods!
The Bakersfield Homeless needs you help to collect donations of non-perishable food items to help those in need in our Community! The Bakersfield Homeless Center provides individuals from the community with food baskets to help make ends meet. We have all seen the rise in food costs for our own budgets, these costs make feeding a struggling family even more challenging.
Non-perishable items needed for donation:
· Pasta
· Beans
· Rice
· Canned vegetables
· Canned meats
· Macaroni and Cheese
· Peanut Butter and Jelly
· Cereal
· Coffee
In the past year the Bakersfield Homeless Center has seen a dramatic increase in individuals seeking assistance with food items. This year alone the Center has provided food baskets to 825 individuals, an average of 92 per month! Our food pantry is at a critical low—In order to sustain the current demand for food assistance we need to receive over 3,000 items per month.
Thank you for your help!

8:30 am – 4:30 pm @ 1600 E Truxtun Ave. Or call Barbara Paulson at 661-322-9199 for more information.
